El contacto reciente con imágenes representativas de un hiperrealismo que ya tiene al menos treinta años, sus colores estridentes y forzados, sus reverberancias digitales, su cromatismo que ingresa en el campo caleidoscópico propio del trip visual y auditivo, me llevó a explorar una recuperación de esa forma que es hoy tan común vía digital y photoshop. Las fotos de celulares (Instagram) y las de polaroids que ya exploraba Warhol en los años 60 y Helmut Newton en los finales de los 60, 70 y 80. Cromatismo vivo, chirriante, cálido, pero en mi caso con el trabajo de lo oscuro, abarrocado, a la manera -lejana, por cierto- de Bronzino y Artemisa Gentileschi, alusión por la cual pido disculpas, tuve la intención de integrar hacia otras perspectivas más amplias y menos sensuales.
