Hay un salto desde la imagen de uno mismo registrada por uno mismo y la imagen de uno tomada por otra mirada. Ambas son ficción, representación imaginaria de cómo es un cuerpo. Mirarse uno mismo es revelador a condición de no engañarse y engañar al otro (espectador). La mirada venida de afuera es diferente a la de uno mismo, la enriquece según su fantasía y talento, o la desaprovecha con ojo miope.

There is a jump from the image of oneself registered by oneself and the image of oneself taken by another gaze. Both are fiction, imaginary representation of what a body is like. Looking at oneself is revealing on condition of not deceiving oneself and deceiving the other (spectator). The look coming from outside is different from one’s own, it enriches it according to its fantasy and talent, or it wastes it with a myopic eye.
